Spotted lanternfly is a growing problem in the U.S. First noticed in the U.S. in 2014, this destructive insect can cause permanent damage to trees if left untreated. Below is a picture of the life cycle of the spotted lanternfly as well as some real time photos of what they look like as adults and a photo taken that shows eggs laid on a tree which will hatch late spring.
